JOB DESCRIPTION

In full expansion, we are currently looking for a talented and passionate Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The systems engineer is part of the system engineering team attached to the company’s technical management.

In the context of various projects, he assists his manager in developing coherent technical proposals that meet the needs of clients (internal or external) and take into account the battery technology developed within the Forsee Group, as well as cost and time objectives.

For “client” or “internal: generic/innovation” developments, he is responsible for the technical specifications of the System and ensures that the mechanical, thermal, electronic, and electromechanical design meets the selected technical requirements.

In particular, the systems engineer must ensure all of these tasks:

• Work on system architectures to ensure the transversality, reliability, and robustness of the solutions.
• Work on design solutions in light of technical specifications. (Supply of external components and choice of internal design).
• Draft technical specifications by exposing requirements from: PRD, clients, market standards, feedback, internal design rules, etc.
• Formalize the requirements of the battery systems to be developed and assign them to the system’s sub-components (BMS, thermal, mechanical, etc.).
• Ensure traceability of requirements from drafting to validation.
• Define the performance and stress levels of our systems.
• Work on product calibration.
• Support the customer integration phase on vehicles.

Profile

⚡ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Good knowledge of electrotechnics, electricity, mechanics, electronics (CAN communication), and thermodynamics.
• Knowledge in electrochemistry would be a plus.
• Experience in the automotive or rail sector with knowledge of standards associated with electrical/electronic systems.
• A first experience in the battery field would be a plus.
• Good command of English.
