JOB DESCRIPTION
In a phase of expansion, we are currently seeking a talented and passionate Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Your main missions will be:
Supplier monitoring
- Lead quality and logistics performance of a panel of suppliers in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends and underperforming suppliers, then take necessary actions to improve supplier performance and capabilities.
- Lead key stakeholders to define and implement corrective action plans.
- Support purchasing and quality departments in supplier action plans for recurring performance gaps.
- Support purchasing by consolidating and collecting non-quality costs and logistics liquidated damages.
- Monitor supplier-related risks and update the risk register.
Supplier evaluation
- Conduct audits and evaluations of suppliers regarding product evolutions, special process monitoring, compliance, capacity, production/change management, supply chain, quality, equipment/tooling management, etc., and ensure closure of all findings and actions required.
- Present evaluation results to the supplier and internal stakeholders. And associated action plan.
- Ensure consistency of improvement actions initiated with all stakeholders in the supply chain.
Introduction of new products by existing panel suppliers
- Manage the introduction of new programs/products with the selected supplier. Review and validate detailed supplier processes before reaching full production pace with support from other internal departments.
- Use recognized methodologies and tools to validate compliance between supplier manufacturing processes and internal requirements.
- Coordinate “gate” reviews and specific steps between the supplier and all internal departments until first article approval.

You have graduated from an engineering school with specialization in an industrial field (mechanical, electronic, computer science…) or university degree Bac +4/5 with specialization in technical, purchasing, or quality field and have confirmed experience of more than 5 years in Supplier Quality.
