Mission

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a talented and passionate Mechanical Manager to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

• Lead mechanical team (Mechanical design and Simulation) to develop battery system for heavy vehicles, light vehicles and industrial devices.
• Responsible for review and approve mechanical design deliverables including 3D model, 2D drawing, specification, BOM..etc. to ensure good quality of mechanical design deliverables.
• Optimize product development procedures, methods, standards, and design guidelines to continue improving team’s design qualities.
• Lead mechanical team to ensure mechanical components validation, approval and implementation for mass production.
• Properly manage design change during the whole product life cycle, including validation of changes, issue notice of changes, communication with relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Testing and Validation teams to ensure right products are developed and delivered to meet company’s standards & customers’ requirements.
• Oversees team’s efforts on product design review, DFMEA, DFX(DFM/DFA/DFC), and tolerance analysis.
• All the duties as assigned by superior and management.

Profile

⚡ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing.
• Bachelor degree or above on mechanical engineering.
• At least 10 years of mechanical design working experience, at least 3 years of team management experience.
• Familiar with plastics, sheetmetal, diecasting product design and manufacturing process.
• Ability on decision-making & problem solving.
• Effective communication skill.
• Experience in multinational company is preferable (European or US company).
• Experience from battery industry or automotive industry is preferred.
