Mission

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Closely monitor the battery cell development and technology trend in the market, make the analysis and formalize in the report, then make proposals for the company on the cell strategy and roadmap.
  • Follow up with key partners and potential partners in Asia Pacific area on their cell development roadmap, based on the Product Requirements, review specifications, evaluate testing data, and make recommendation of cell solutions to each product.
  • Coordinate cell qualification test to ensure the cells are validated and qualified properly when it is implemented to the product.
  • Conduct cell benchmark test and analysis to benchmark the cell performance and safety with cells from the market.
  • Participate the battery failure analysis and provide strong support on the analysis if it is cell related, and provide the analysis result to team for the troubleshooting.
  • Contribute on the Innovation and provide support for the company on the Innovation from cell technology perspective.
  • Other activities related with cells and assigned from the managers.

Profile

⚡ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

  • Engineering degree in chemistry, electrochemistry, material science, or related fields with 8+ years industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of lithium-ion cell with difference chemistries including NMC, LFP, LTO, and form factors including cylindrical, pouch, and prismatic.
  • Solid understanding of cell behaviors and characterizations such as impedance, capacity, cycle life, power, thermal, and abuse tolerance.
  • Familiar with testing equipment, testing procedures, and international standards applicable to lithium-ion traction batteries.
  • Experience with mathematical modeling of lithium ion battery a plus.

  • 协调并进行电芯测试,确保产品所选择的电芯都经过测试并符合要求
  • 进行电芯对标测试及分析,同市场上的类似产品从性能及安全等角度进行对比的评估
  • 参与电池的失效分析,为电芯相关的技术问题解决或失效分析提供有力支持
  • 从电芯技术的角度对公司的创新开发提供支持
  • 公司安排的其他电芯相关的事宜

简介

我们期待您的加入

  • 化学、电化学、材料科学或相关领域工程学位, 8年以上行业工作经验
  • 具有不同化学成分(包括NMC,LFP,LTO)与尺寸规格(圆柱形、软包、和方形)的锂离子电芯的工作知识
