We are currently expanding and looking for a talented and passionate Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible, within the IT team, for developing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect Forsee Power’s computers, systems, networks, and data. They play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Applying security policies and procedures
• Identifying security violations and inefficiencies through periodic audits
• Performing tests and evaluations to identify potential security vulnerabilities
• Implementing and maintaining security controls and measures
• Enhancing existing security using password protection, network firewalls, antivirus, SIEM/SOC, and other tools
• Monitoring systems, servers, and networks for signs of intrusion
• Responding to data breaches and malware attacks
• Identifying and resolving potential and actual security issues
• Simulating data loss scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of existing recovery plans
• Developing plans and procedures for data backup and recovery
• Raising employee awareness of security and data protection issues
• Maintaining technical knowledge by participating in training workshops
• Contributing to team efforts by achieving related results as needed

Profile

⚡ WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• Proven professional experience of over three years as a Cybersecurity Specialist, IT Security Specialist, or similar role.
• Understanding of IT concepts such as network design, protocols, identity and access management, security configurations, cryptography, and the system development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of general and security technologies, standards, and concepts such as network design, protocols, identity and access management, endpoint and server security, security configurations, cryptography, and the system development lifecycle.
• Recognized skills in virtual private networks, firewalls, TCP/IP protocols, token systems, authentication systems, and Microsoft solutions (AD, WSUS).
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Hands-on experience analyzing large volumes of logs, network data, system and application data, and other cyberattack artifacts.
• Fundamental understanding of cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) and pentesting activities.
• Knowledge of legislation (GDPR) affecting security issues and their application.
• Awareness of the business imperatives of the company when providing solutions.
• Proficiency in French and English (both oral and written).
• We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
