Forsee Power’s CSR performance certified Silver by EcoVadis

Paris, 9 November 2020 – Forsee Power, the French specialist in smart battery systems for electric mobility, is proud to have received the “Silver” EcoVadis rating for its commitment and performance in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Thus, Forsee Power is part of the Top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis and in the Top 9% of peers.


Established in 2007, EcoVadis is the largest and most trusted provider of supply chain sustainability ratings. EcoVadis evaluates the policies and actions of companies, as well as the reports they publish on the environment, social and human rights, ethics, and responsible purchasing.

Forsee Power obtains an overall rating of 60/100 which breaks down as follows: environment, 70/100 – social and human rights, 60/100 – ethics, 50/100 – responsible purchasing, 40/100.

« This is the first time that we implement the EcoVadis assessment and Forsee Power is proud to have received the silver medal. We have just launched our 2025 sustainable development roadmap and this result is encouraging. It should be up sharply next year since we have already put in place several measures, including a responsible purchasing policy » says Sophie Tricaud, Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the Forsee Power Group. « A signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, the Group strives to advance its corporate social responsibility approach and actively supports 8 of the 17 UN’s sustainable development goals » she concludes.

The Forsee Power Group has adopted actions to reduce its environmental impact. Measures include reducing energy consumption, purchasing renewable energies, taking measures to reuse or recycle waste or even setting up awareness-raising and training programs for employees on energy savings.

Beyond the environment, Forsee Power is strongly committed to social and human rights; it aims at promoting the inclusion of women and / or minorities, a flexible organization of work for its employees. or even specific measures implemented for the integration of seniors. The health and safety of employees, as well as dialogue about their working conditions, the development of individual skills or the integration of disabled people are necessary measures for the Group and essential to the well-being of everyone and to the performance of the company.

A roadmap for the next 5 years

Forsee Power published its first Sustainable Development report in 2020. It unveils the group’s strategy and its roadmap towards 2025 thereby asserting itself as an even more responsible company. Convinced that smart battery systems can mitigate climate change with sustainable, zero-emission electromobility, Forsee Power is building on a strategy of sustainability. The group aims to have a positive impact on climate, to limit the consequences on global warming (innovating in efficient and sustainable technologies, helping its customers and cities reduce their carbon footprint, extending the life cycle of batteries with second-life applications, offering financing solutions to accelerate the energy transition, taking measures to reduce its own carbon footprint), on people (promoting diversity and inclusion, create a strong culture of health, safety and environment, ensuring social dialogue, partnering with local schools to develop programs) and finally on the environment (adopting smarter behavior towards consumption and waste, reducing consumption, managing waste and recycling).
