MAIN DUTIES

• Actively contributes to safety by drawing up prevention plans for subcontractors and by intervening in risky situations concerning safety and ergonomics in the workplace.
• Carries out studies to improve reliability, increase production and reduce losses, in liaison with the various departments, and proposes corrective actions or improvement projects.
• Analyzes malfunctions and participates in the implementation of a continuous improvement approach by managing or leading meetings with other departments.
• Participates in the design of product manufacturing ranges and defines operating procedures.
• Participates in process development.
• Proposes and implements special process qualification procedures.
• Carries out special process qualification according to procedures validated by the special processes manager.
• Places orders for parts and subcontracting services.
• Manages subcontractors during operations, ensures that the prevention plan is completed and that safety rules are complied with.
• Participates in and contributes to updating process procedures.
• Participates in and contributes to the installation of new equipment in collaboration with the process and maintenance departments.
• Informs the methods department’s performance indicators.
• Draws up specifications.
• Produces daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensures document consistency (Layout, Flow chart, AMDEC Process, BOM, Operating procedures and Ok Start).
• Supports the department manager in daily tasks.

RESEARCH PROFILE

• Knowledge of electricity and mechanics.
• Knowledge of planning and budgeting.
• Mastery of technical aspects of manufacturing.
• Mastery of continuous improvement tools (5S, FMEA, 8D, etc.).
• Good knowledge of computer-aided design software (SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of special processes.
• Plan reading.
• Documentation management Procedures, layouts, flow charts, process FMEA, operating procedures, VSM, range time management, etc.
• Good analytical approach and knowledge of continuous improvement tools: Lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma, PDCA, QRQC, etc.
