Forsee Power is forming a North America (NA) senior leadership team to drive our North America expansion. We are looking for someone to lead controlling, accounting, treasury, tax, IT, legal, risk management and corporate office management for our NA legal entity. The position will be based in our renovated NA HQ in Hilliard, Ohio.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, this position’s mission is to contribute functional expertise in close collaboration with their colleagues to achieve Forsee Power North America’s overarching objectives.
The Controller wears several hats. Their primary responsibilities are to (1) manage cash, (2) foster an environment of fiscal responsibility throughout the organization, and (3) ensure timely and accurate financial information and insight is available for management and IFRS reporting. They will also oversee the IT and general corporate office management. The role reports directly to the President, Forsee Power North America based in Hilliard, Ohio, and functionally to the Group CFO based in Paris, France. They will also collaborate closely with the Group IT and risk management leaders. A critical duty of the position is to build an effective team commensurate to our business growth objectives.
The CFO’s scope of responsibility includes duties customary to the role, such as:
Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Tax
- Legal entity financial reporting and analysis, including key performance metrics.
- Plant operations / industrial controlling and cost accounting.
- Lead organizations preparation of financial forecast, budgets, multi-year plans.
- Project controlling and cost accounting.
- Support strategic initiatives with business case preparation and insight.
- Manage IFRS and internal control audits customary to a public listed company.
- Tax planning and compliance with support of external tax experts.
- Regional treasury and cash management activities in collaboration with Group treasury team.
- Lead pursuit and management of funding grants, special loans, etc.
- Implementation of best practices, continually review and improve operations and processes.
- Evaluation and implementation of internal control systems.
- Implementation of an accounting system and integration with Group ERP systems, account & sales management, demand forecasting, inventory planning and production planning.
- Contribution to the development, implementation and monitoring of both Group and US policies.
- Support special projects.
Legal and Risk Management
- In close collaboration with the President, North America, and the Group experts, serve as the teams point person for general legal and risk management topics.
Information Technology
- The NA IT technician reporting to the Controller will receive technical direction from the Group IT Director. The NA controller will have management oversight responsibilities.
Corporate Office Management
- Supervise the corporate office manager in close collaboration with the President, North America.
General

- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Battery systems knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English required, French speaking is a plus.
Strong candidate likely has:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Poses the potential to assume a regional CFO role as the size and complexity of the NA business evolves and warrants.
- Held a leadership position on a team overseeing a legal subsidiary with statutory reporting.
- Successfully served as a plant controller, a corporate controller, and cash manager.
