Sales manager for heavy vehicles

Following a period, your missions will be as follows :
+ Participate to the development and implementation of the sales action plan in collaboration with the sales and marketing team, according to the objectives defined by the company.
+ Develop relationships with customers (OEMs) and strategic partners as well as with key certification authorities, with a focus on the Germany and German-speaking markets.
+ Be the main point of entry who will be assigned to him to process their requests for quotations and coordinate the technical and commercial responses and thus lead the commercial negotiations until the conclusion of the contract and monitor the life of the contract.
+ Prepare sales forecasts by collecting information on customer demand forecasts.
+ Work in cooperation with Product Marketing.
+ Participate in the analysis of the competition (technologies, products, prices, business models).
+ Ensure a technology watch on all developments.
+ Participate in trade shows, conferences and any other event to promote the Forsee Power offers and increase knowledge of these markets
+ Analyse customer specifications and using the sizing tools at his/her disposal to develop viable technical and economic responses.
+ Write responses to customer consultations and calls for tender, including technical definition, performance analysis, service life, scope of supply, costs, schedules etc…
+ Make and send offers to customers in close coordination with all internal stakeholders (Engineering, Projects, Purchasing, Industrial Management, Marketing etc…) and in compliance with the priorities and deadlines set by the Heavy Vehicles BU
+ Answer customers‘ questions and confirm the relevance of technical arguments.
+ Carry out technical demonstrations and product presentations to customers, decision-makers and/or end users.
We are looking for applicants with substantial technical expertise acquired in a manufacturing environment, a culture of operational excellence and a collaborative mindset with the ability to demonstrate the following skills:
+ Knowledge : the energy market, Public Transport, Off-Highway segment, Marine and Rail sectors, commercial law, customer typology
+ Technical understanding of battery technologies
+ Autonomous, creative, rigorous, with very good analytical skills.
+ Pro-active and result-oriented.
