Forsee Power is forming a North America senior leadership team to drive our North America expansion. We are looking for a Director, Sales and Marketing, responsible for all North America market segments with a specific focus on HEV and LEV. The position will be based in our renovated North American HQ in Columbus, Ohio. A hybrid of on-site / remote work is anticipated as the organization evolves. Significant travel to customers and trade events is required.
As a director, this position’s mission is to contribute functional expertise in close collaboration with their senior leadership team colleagues to achieve Forsee Power North America’s overarching objectives.
The Director, Sales and Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a dynamic sales, marketing and product strategy, while maintaining financial targets. It reports directly to the President, Forsee Power North America based in Columbus, Ohio, and functionally to the Group Vice President, Business Development based in Paris, France.
The Director’s scope of responsibility includes duties customary to the role, such as:
+ Develop and maintain a robust customer portfolio
+ Build an effective sales and marketing team
+ Develop and lead the execution of cross-functional customer account plans
+ Build strong customer relationships and provide the voice of the customer
+ Champion customer satisfaction
+ Prepare sales and volumes forecast
+ Monitor industry and market trends
+ Manage commercial offers, terms and conditions, and negotiations through all phases of a contract (quoting, series production and service)
+ Partner with the Group business development team on strategy, product plans, global account management, etc.
+ Partner with the Group communications team regarding trade shows, seminars, marketing materials, etc.
+ Collaborate with companies with whom Forsee Power has strategic relationships, such as Mitsui & Co., Ballard Power Systems, etc.
+ Establish and maintain sales and marketing processes and procedures
+ Perform all duties in a manner consistent with Forsee Power’s Values and Code of Conduct
+ Serve as an inspiring leader across the entire organization

+ Leads effectively in a matrix organization, across functional silos and cultures
+ Strong business acumen and financially savvy
+ Technical knowledge and experience with battery systems for electric mobility
+ Heavy vehicle market knowledge and experience (on-highway and off-highway is preferred)
+ Success working with Japanese companies is a plus
+ Fluent in English, French speaking is a plus
Strong candidate likely has:
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ Business degree with strong technical experience, or engineering degree with an MBA
+ Significant battery systems experience
