Forsee Power is forming a North America (NA) senior leadership team to drive our North America expansion. We are looking for a CFO to lead controlling, accounting, treasury, tax, IT, legal, risk management and general office management for our NA legal entity. The position will be based in our renovated NA HQ in Columbus, Ohio. A hybrid of on-site / remote work is anticipated as the organization evolves.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, this position’s mission is to contribute functional expertise in close collaboration with their senior leadership team colleagues to achieve Forsee Power North America’s overarching objectives.
The CFO wears several hats. Their primary responsibilities are to (1) manage cash, (2) foster an environment of financial responsibility throughout the organization, and (3) ensure timely and accurate financial information and insight is available for management and IFRS reporting. They will also oversee the IT and general office management. The role reports directly to the President, Forsee Power North America based in Columbus, Ohio, and functionally to the Group CFO based in Paris, France. They will also collaborate closely with the Group IT and risk management leaders. A critical duty of the position is to build an effective team commensurate to our business growth objectives.
The CFO’s scope of responsibility includes duties customary to the role, such as:
Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Tax
+ Legal entity financial reporting and analysis
+ Plant operations controlling and cost accounting
+ Forecast, budgets, multi-year plans
+ Project controlling and cost accounting
+ Support strategic initiatives with business case preparation and insight
+ Establish and maintain processes, procedures and internal controls
+ Manage IFRS and internal control audits customary to a public listed company
+ Manage tax compliance and planning with support of external tax experts
+ Manage regional treasury and cash management activities in collaboration with Group treasury team
+ Lead pursuit and management of funding grants, special loans, etc.
Legal and Risk Management
+ In close collaboration with the President, North America, and the Group experts, serve as the teams point person for general legal and risk management topics
+ The NA IT technician will receive technical direction from the Group IT Director. The NA CFO will have management oversight responsibilities
+ Supervise the office manager in close collaboration with the President, North America
+ Perform all duties in a manner consistent with Forsee Power’s Values and Code of Conduct
+ Serve as an inspiring leader across the entire organization
+ Potentially, depending on candidate’s qualifications, oversee the HR leader in close collaboration with the President, North America, and Group HR leadership

Strong candidate likely has:
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ Ready to step up to their 1st CFO role
+ Held a leadership position on a team overseeing a legal subsidiary with statutory reporting
+ Successfully served as a plant controller, a corporate controller and cash manager
